Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (Upbeat) at Bradford Regional Medical Center
Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Bradford Regional Medical Center is a comprehensive program combining medically supervised exercise and education to help patients regain their physical, emotional and vocational health. This physician-prescribed program supports recovery for individuals with chest pain, heart attack, bypass surgery, stent placement, congestive heart failure (CHF), valve replacement or heart transplant.
Cardiac programs include:
Cardiac Rehab – Phase 2
- An 8 to 12-week program with sessions three days per week providing each patient with a customized exercise plan tailored to their individual recovery needs.
Cardiac Rehab – Phase 3
- A maintenance exercise program available to patients who complete the level 1 cardiac program allowing patients to continue with supervised exercise sessions and lifestyle modifications.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Bradford Regional Medical Center
Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program helps patients with moderate to severe COPD and other chronic lung conditions manage symptoms and improve quality of life. The program includes personalized exercise plans based on pulmonary function and cardiovascular tests, along with detailed education on nutrition, medication, smoking cessation and stress. Patients attend sessions three times a week for 12 weeks. This program requires a referral from your physician.
